Swing, Spin, and Shine!
Dance trapeze is one of the most iconic and fun circus apparatuses! Featuring a metal bar suspended from two ropes, this lesson lets kids explore the magic of aerial arts while building strength, stamina, and confidence.

In this lesson, your child will:

  • Learn basic moves underneath, on top of, and even above the bar.
  • Build grip strength, coordination, and body awareness in a safe, supportive environment.
  • Discover the joy of creating graceful movements and sequences on the trapeze.

Please note: This type of trapeze is different from flying trapeze. The trapezes are close to the ground and remain in place, making them perfect for beginners and those mastering the basics.

No prior experience is needed—just bring a sense of adventure and let your child take their first swing into the world of dance trapeze!

A young trapeze artist hangs upside down with their feet hooked over a trapeze bar, displaying skill and balance.

Lessons are 55-85 mins in length and all lessons begin with a guided warm-up by the instructor to prepare and help to prevent injuries.

During a lesson new skills are taught, old skills are reviewed, put together and developed into acts for those that desire and work towards them.

In our constant effort to avoid injury, we conclude each lesson with a cool down which can include conditioning and/or stretching.
