We’re proud to offer Open Studio Training—a valuable opportunity for experienced circus artists to train independently while prioritizing safety.

Who Qualifies?
✅ Current WCC students who have completed 10+ lessons with us
✅ Visiting professionals who can verify equivalent training at another circus school

Available Equipment:
Please note: Trampoline and flying trapeze are NOT available during open training sessions due to insurance restrictions.

How It Works:

Train independently with basic supervision (no instruction provided)
Perfect for refining skills, conditioning, or working on personal projects
Must complete approval process before participating

Safety First:

Follow all WCC safety guidelines and equipment protocols
Supervisor present for emergencies only (not for coaching)

Please Note:
Open training is a privilege, not a right. Our insurance considers unsupervised training high-risk, so we strictly enforce:

Zero tolerance for unsafe behavior, equipment misuse, or bullying
WCC reserves the right to revoke access immediately for any violations

Rates:
Drop-in • $15/day
Monthly • $150/month
(includes 1-hour guaranteed apparatus reservation per session)

Lessons are 55-85 mins in length and all lessons begin with a guided warm-up by the instructor to prepare and help to prevent injuries.

During a lesson new skills are taught, old skills are reviewed, put together and developed into acts for those that desire and work towards them.

In our constant effort to avoid injury, we conclude each lesson with a cool down which can include conditioning and/or stretching.

Cancellation policy:

All payments for punch cards, workshops, private lessons, sessions, and drop-in lessons are non-refundable.

You can cancel and reschedule for ANY reason up to 24-hours before the open training appointment (you think you are getting the flu, you’re getting hitched in Vegas, you’d rather stay home and watch Netflix, etc.).

Under 24 hours means you forfeit the open training appointment credit, regardless of the reason (we absolutely care, we just have to pay for the space and our hard-working instructors).

All punch cards expire 6-months from the date of purchase.
